Incongruence & Congruence - A Blended Family
Dear Unconditional Love - What would you have me know tonight?
Oh, honey, I know you’re tired. And I know you miss me. I also know I miss you. But sometimes when we meet it takes a lot to engage, rengage and think through our interaction.
I want you to know how much I care about interacting with you. And how little I care about how you do it. I’m with you every time you reassure yourself. That’s me, sharing love through you. Every time you worry about not connecting with me and then breathe and move forward, that IS us connecting. You will never lose our connection, my love. We are intertwined. I am love and so are you.
I’m here with you when you spend hours on the couch. I’m so proud of you for that by the way. Many years ago you would’ve shamed yourself from doing that, not calling me into the conversation at all. It makes sense it’s taken a while babe. You had to survive where you were living in society at the time.
I know you’re worried about your place in society now. That makes sense too. You feel so much incongruence constantly. I’m sorry about that. And I want you to know it’s a skill you’re meant to learn in Earthside School, an experience you’re meant to have so that you can be at peace with incongruence just like you’re at peace with love. But as you know it takes practice babe. Let’s keep trying. We have plenty of time. I’ll always be here and so will congruence. We can move through this world as a messy blended family because that’s exactly what we’re meant to do. Sweet dreams, my love. Good job this weekend. I love you.
